Old Man is a much loved and favorite stallion of those who visit Onaqui, I had been in Utah for a few days but had yet to see him. The sun had not risen completely and the sky was glowing with pink as I arrived to where the horses can sometimes be found. There was no herd. There stood a solitary white figure in a sea of pink cheat grass. It was him, Old Man. It was a breathtakingly beautiful moment seeing this icon of Onaqui awash in the soft pink glow of sunrise.
